OUR HISTORY
Our beautiful 68-acre facility is located on Highway 167, three miles South of I-20 in Ruston, Louisiana. The church was founded December 6, 1975, by Pastor Ted Kohr. In May of 1981, Chris Witt moved with his family to begin serving as Senior Pastor. His wife, Jeanie, also currently serves alongside Pastor Chris assisting in all areas of ministry.

South Parkway is an exciting, dynamic, growing church with the vision to see lost people come to the saving knowledge of Christ. The gifts and operations of the Holy Spirit are welcome and free to move in all services. Our goal is to express Jesus as He truly is and to see the abundant life that Jesus purchased, promised, and provided revealed and received by every person.
